NSW Regional Film Makers can now get a discount submission to NiSFF ’23 on Film Freeway

Luckily, NISFF was able to go ahead as live screenings in 2020 as restrictions were lifted just in time for the festival. Audiences were great and very enthusiastic to be out of lock down. Hope to see you in 2021. Congratulations to all Winners and Official Selections
Newcastle International Short Film Festival (NiSFF) was established in 2017. The 2021 edition will take place on Friday & Saturday 10 & 11 December 2021 at 8 pm at the Royal Exchange Boutique Hybrid Theatre 34 Bolton St Newcastle Australia. NiSFF keeps submission and audience admission fees low. Submissions from filmmakers are open in various categories and genres. Submissions are welcome for live action narratives, animations, comedies, doco’s and experimental super shorts and phone films up to 3 mins in length, for short shorts up to 10 mins in length and for shorts up to 20 mins in length from Regional New South Wales, Australian and International based film makers. If the film is understandable for our predominantly English speaking audience without subtitles, then English subtitles are not required. We do not expect filmmakers to provide us with an expensive DCP. Submissions can be made through Festhome or FilmFreeway.
